Old Time Radio Shows
Listening to Old Time Radio Shows has been a hobby of mine
for years.  I started out in the 70's buying shows on vinyl
records, then cassettes, and now I have thousands of shows
on cd in the mp3 format.  I am not an expert, just an avid
collector.
My favorites are The Great Gildersleeve and Fibber McGee and
Molly.  Lately I've been listening to The Life of Riley and I'm
quickly becoming a fan!!
I finally have a complete collection of CBS Mystery Theatre that I
loved listening to on late night radio when I was growing up,
even though sometimes the stories scared me to death!!

Old Time Radio is a lost art and a form of entertainment that
should still be enjoyed today.  Children today don't really know
what it's like to use their imagination because of the special
effects and animation that is used today. When listening to Old
Time Radio Show it is amazing how you actually "see" what is
going on, and each person sees it differently!! I'm sure my vision
of Gildersleeve's house is different from the next fan of that
show, or the items falling out of Fibber McGee's closet.....
