Old Time Radio Shows Listening to Old Time Radio Shows has been a hobby of mine for years. I started out in the 70's buying shows on vinyl records, then cassettes, and now I have thousands of shows on cd in the mp3 format. I am not an expert, just an avid collector. My favorites are The Great Gildersleeve and Fibber McGee and Molly. Lately I've been listening to The Life of Riley and I'm quickly becoming a fan!! I finally have a complete collection of CBS Mystery Theatre that I loved listening to on late night radio when I was growing up, even though sometimes the stories scared me to death!! Children today don't really know what it's like to use their imagination because of the special effects and animation that is used today.
